Laurence Marner

Larry founded the New York office in 2008 building on the spirit of the practice he built over 20 years.  The focus of the studio is on significant design projects for schools, colleges and corporate clients in major law and financial firms.  His core expertise is in guiding clients through complex projects that include site search, strategic and master planning, design and construction.  He has considerable experience helping emerging and established organizations envision new work environments that support and integrate their culture, work processes, technology and brand.  He has helped develop new work models for such diverse clients as Lowenstein Sandler LLP, Chelsea Piers Management, the Chapin School, and LIM College.  A strong proponent of sustainable design, he has led teams working on groundbreaking projects including the Grand Central Terminal master plan and Chelsea Piers.  His work has received numerous awards and has been featured in publications such as The New York Times, Interior Design Magazine, Contract Magazine, and Architectural Record.
